Ciaran is involved in every aspect of Urban from helping with interiors, design, hand making signage and even installation. A hands on leader who has brought Urban Design Studio from strength to strength, always willing to help and knows the best solution for you and your business.
Katie Maher-barry
Interior Designer / Owner
Katie is our Interior Design extraordinaire. Katie has worked in the Interiors industry for close on 20 years, while also passing on her knowledge through lecturing and guest talks. Katie focuses on detail with her students, discussing topics like colour psychology, lighting, trends and the psychology of retail. Katie is known for strong interior aesthetics. She believes that every space deserves to have a feeling and mood. She has a passion for fabrics, colours and especially lighting! Katie enjoys travelling abroad to Interior shows so she is always up to date on trend influences. Renowned for being highly creative with an eye for detail and a huge interest in sustainable practices in design. Katie loves meeting new people and especially loves new challenges.
isobel henry
Interior Architect
Interior Architect from Munster Technological University. Her immaculate attention to detail can be seen throughout her work. Isobel keeps our team on their toes as she is is extremely organised which plays a huge role in project organisation and management. Isobel enjoys the challenge of taking new and old areas and turning them into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. She is passionate about interior architecture and enjoys exploring new ideas and methods to help clients reach their end goal. Isobel works closely with Katie in Interior design and the graphic and signage departments to create a seamless and customised experience for our clients. Isobel keeps up to date with novel software’s which include creating 3D walkthrough videos for her client to visualise the space first hand before physical work starts. Isobel continuously develops her skills through learning and gaining experience on a variety of projects. She is extremely talented at sketching and enjoys this in concept stages of a project as it brings out her creative side.
Paul Wade
Design Manager
Paul is our go-to design guy. Paul has over a decade of experience in graphic design and holds a degree in Visual Communication from MTU, a Master’s in Digital Marketing Strategy from MTU as well as Diplomas in User Experience and User Interaction.
Paul has a real passion for branding, creating consistent and impactful designs that work not only visually but functionally. Paul has worked on every aspect of design from brand conception, to website design, packaging to social media. He is always looking to improve and grow, keeping up to date with trends and technology and working closely with the rest of the Urban team to make sure all designs work seamlessly for our clients.
Paul collins
Print Manager
Paul is the longest serving member of the Urban team, with over 25 years experience in print. Paul’s keen eye for detail is what makes the difference when handing over work to our clients. Paul is a perfectionist by nature and he is our proof reading guy! Paul is hands on with all print work from large format to signage to hand cutting and die cutting.
Paul is always ready to give a helping hand at any time. All round a positive person that keeps us all motivated, and there really is no job too big or too small!
Eibhlis Lucey
Accounts
Eibhlis arrived in Urban in November 2015 to cover maternity leave in accounts and she never left. Lucky us! Eibhlis keeps the Urban Design team running, with organisational skills like no other Eibhlis works across every department with Urban ensuring everyone knows what is happening (she is also the person you go to when you do not know what is happening). Eibhlis is generally your first port of call when you visit us here at Urban, You will always be greeted with a friendly smile…she makes a mean cuppa too!
As the unofficial “mammy” of Urban you can be sure she will do her best to make sure your issues and queries are dealt with promptly.
